Hi, I am guessing you are talking about color picker option. If yes, then you will need to add the colors considering 4×4 for all the cablets. Once you add colors for all cablets then only it will show you the next steps to solve the cube.

Looks great. Were trying to solve a 4×4 cube and have input our configuration but we keep getting the message “invalid middle configuration”. Is there something obvious we can do to resolve?
